Mr. Rico (Rico Wint): Founder/CEO


Rico Wint of Denver CO. is known as a visionary leader of men and an educational leader whose mission is to instill Manhood, Integrity and Purpose in a generation of young men.

For 14 years, Rico has served the Denver community as an educator and minister. Young Men of Purpose has served over 5000+ Black & Brown Boys, training them in social emotional wellness & leadership development.

As a student at The University of Northern Colorado, he was elected the 3rd African American - Student Body President in UNC’s 130-year history. Graduating with his BS in Political Science, he was honored with “Alumni of the year” in 2020 for his work with Young Men of Purpose.

He is the Pastor of The Purpose Center, notable motivational/keynote speaker, a teacher trainer/facilitator in Denver Public Schools and Aurora Public Schools.

It is evident that inspirational/visionary leadership is laden in Mr. Rico as well as the grace to push young men into purpose.

With his many accolades, Rico says his greatest accomplishment is his wife Casandra and their 4 sons.

Mr. Brown (Dwayne Brown): Chief Operating Officer/Facilitator

Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, Dwayne Brown has grown up and currently lives in Aurora. Attending all APS schools through high school and His higher education and degree (Film and Video), he is Aurora through and through. With a diverse professional background in various industries, including sales, finance, health, upper management and most recently education, as a Dean of Students for DPS, he is uniquely experienced and situated to join YMOP as our newest facilitator. Dwayne has served as a Sunday School teacher, athletic director, basketball coach, and has volunteered in numerous roles in YMOP over the years. His love for and experience with young people and a desire for them to be their best selves and reach their potential and PURPOSE, makes us so excited to welcome Dwayne to YMOP!
